5. The “Annual Plea for Help:” Once again this year, we’re asking (begging) for help with the race. The Semer Course is a very challenging and fun course, but it takes some serious volunteer help to get participants through it safely. Especially the downtown portion. If you’re not participating, please consider volunteering and hour or so of your time on race day to lend a hand. Remember that volunteering with races now counts towards participation in the Race Series!
- FERC Singlets- Red and Black singlets are on order for everyone who responded by last Friday’s deadline. We expect to have them in and available in the next two weeks. Those who ordered one will be notified by email and they can pick it up at any club event or the Rec Complex. - Motivation for the Week- From The Desk of Andrew Glick, FERC Director of Motivation
“Me and Running don’t always see eye to eye. Somedays it hurts more than others, but it doesn’t mean that I should stop doing it. I deal with it AND KEEP RUNNING BECAUSE NOT EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU ALWAYS FEELS GOOD FOR YOU!”
